The Smallest Things are the Biggest

When people’s consciences are unchecked, even when they do not feel guilty there is a remorse that diminishes their happiness. This is because they do not know the Source of the means of their happiness.

Happiness can be found in a meal. “In earlier days he permitted all the nations to go their own ways, but he never left himself without a witness. There were always his reminders, such as sending you rain and good crops and giving you food and joyful hearts.” (Acts 14:16-17)

Note that joyful hearts came with food, which came from good crops, which came from rain which came from God, the Source.

To truly enjoy a good meal is a sign that you know your Redeemer lives. When you can simply enjoy a good meal, you can enjoy all blessings with no remorse.

It’s a new year. Enjoy.

With the rains pouring down in our area, this is a reminder of what REALLY goes on in life (part of the unseen). It’s easy to get disgusted with the amount of rain, puddles, impaired driving, chilly temperatures, winds, and soggy feet, clothes, and hair. Yet without our SOURCE which brings this cleansing and nurturing rain, we are without. Withouth clean air, without food, without our source, God!
