Be Tactful and Clear

You shall not hate your brother in your heart. You shall surely rebuke your neighbor, and not bear sin because of him.  Leviticus 19:17

It is good to be swift to hear and slow to speak, but it is possible to be too slow in speaking. Holding the hurt in your heart when you have been violated can corrode your soul. It weighs you down, and the Bible tells us get lay aside weights (Hebrews 12:1).

If someone has mistreated you it is also good that you are not thin-skinned, reacting to every error that people make. Still, it may be for their benefit and yours to initiate an honorable encounter.

If you cannot rest, it very well might be the divine nature within stirring. Don't dismiss these thoughts as "from the devil".

The devil never wants reconciliation.
