You Can Handle Your Trial

So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath; for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God.                                                                                             (James 1:19-20)

It is not that you would never speak or never become angry, but that these should come to you slowly. Take your time, and refrain from rashness.

One driver arrives at the intersection a millisecond before the other.

Is it really that important that you go first?

We do require justice if we are to have a functional community, but it is peacemakers, those who are not easily offended, that help create a just community.

“Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.”                                                                                                     (James 3:18)
